I had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem called Lakeside Eco Pod recently and it was truly a remarkable experience. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The location of the pod, right next to the scenic lake, was absolutely breathtaking. It provided a sense of tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere. The simplicity of the pod added to the charm, with a comfortable bed and a clean, functional toilet area. I loved the feeling of being completely immersed in nature.
Although there were a few minor inconveniences, such as a short uphill walk to reach the pod and the absence of tea making facilities, these did not detract from the overall experience. The natural beauty of the location and the warmth of the hosts far outweighed these small issues.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem while hiking Offas Dyke and it turned out to be one of my best finds. The hosts at Lakeside Eco Pod were super friendly and helpful. The location next to the lake was exceptional, with breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings. The pod itself was basic but comfortable, with a cozy bed and a clean and functional toilet area. I highly recommend bringing a BBQ or stove, your favorite snacks, and enjoying a relaxing evening by the lake. I can't wait to go back!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Pod! the surroundings were breathtaking, with a stunning view of the lake. the off-grid setup was unique and made us feel more connected with nature. the solar-powered lights and USB socket for charging our phones were convenient amenities. the hosts, David and Julie, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. the location was perfect for exploring the area, and their recommendation to visit the "Pistyll Rhaeadr" waterfall was spot-on. We can't wait to visit again for a longer stay!
We felt incredibly cared for during our stay and had no reason to complain.

I had the most amazing stay at a hidden gem nestled by a beautiful lake. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The surrounding views were breathtaking and the peacefulness was unparalleled. The cozy pod provided a comfortable bed and even a USB charging point. I loved the feeling of getting away from it all. The nearby farm added a charming touch, and waking up to the sound of birds was pure bliss. Although it got a bit chilly at night, it didn't dampen my experience. While it would have been nice to have a lock on the front door, it didn't detract from the overall sense of security. The only suggestion I have is to bring insect spray as there were flies and midges, but that's just part of being close to nature. The walk uphill to the pod offered complete privacy and tranquility, with the owner even helping to carry some of my belongings. I appreciated their recommendation to visit the stunning "Pistyll Rhaeadr" waterfall. All in all, I highly recommend this place for a wonderful connection with nature. I would definitely return and recommend Lakeside Eco Pod.

The hiking trails nearby were off the charts. We felt like true adventurers, exploring the breathtaking nature and getting those Instagram-worthy shots. The hosts were super cool and made our trip even more awesome. We had a blast chilling by the lake, having BBQs, and enjoying the beautiful views. Can't wait to go back and make more memories!
If there was one thing we could have asked for, it would be a little more nightlife nearby. We loved the peacefulness of the location, but being young party-goers, we were craving some late-night fun.

I stumbled upon this lovely little pod during my last-minute hike along Offas Dyke, and it turned out to be one of my best finds. The hosts were amazing and provided exceptional service, helping me out and making my stay wonderful. The location next to the lake was stunning, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. I had the field to myself, which allowed my dogs to run freely while I enjoyed sitting on the decking. The compost toilet was better than expected, and the pod itself was clean and comfortable. a perfect getaway where I could truly relax and soak in the beauty of nature.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

What a hidden gem! The location was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of a tranquil lake and plenty of wildlife to spot. The seclusion and privacy were a major plus, making for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We loved the off-grid experience, with solar-powered lights and a USB plug for charging our devices. The comfortable bed was an added bonus, ensuring a good night's sleep.
While the uphill walk to reach the pod may be a minor inconvenience, it's worth it for the complete tranquility once you're up there. It would have been better if there was a lock on the front door for added security, although the remote location did provide a sense of safety.
